Have to identify whether there is a real problem and whether it is a local, regiional or national problem. Don't be misled by the contractor to ask for EOT. If it is a genuine national problem, then we may have to assist the contractor in granting EOT. The contractor may have to consider to proceed with other section of the work which do not have problem of material shortage, if possible.
